Qualifications

• Experience with safe food handling and sanitation practices.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and diet orders.
• Proficiency with basic computer tasks (ticketing, ordering).

Responsibilities

• Supervise culinary center staff in the absence of the Chef/Certified Dietary Manager.
• Handle, store, and prepare food according to procedures and safety standards.
• Follow standardized recipes and prepare meals per RD-developed menus.
• Maintain clean, organized workspaces and equipment.
• Ensure meals are served at proper temperatures and times.
• Monitor waste and manage food supplies efficiently.
• Assist with inspection preparation and respond to survey requests.
• Interact with supervisor to maximize resident satisfaction.
