Job summary

Kamehameha Schools Maui is seeking a Cook to join our Food Services team and be part of a collaborative group dedicated to providing nutritious meals that support student success every day.

This regular, full-time position offers comprehensive benefits, a primarily Monday through Friday schedule, and the opportunity to enjoy a healthy work-life balance with weekends and holidays generally off (except for special events).

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or food service experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to obtain required food safety certification within two weeks.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains dish room cleanliness and stores utensils and equipment.
• Monitors temperatures and sanitation for food and equipment per health standards.
• Cleans and sanitizes kitchen appliances and prep areas.
• Assists with food preparation and inventory control.
• Transports and unloads supplies and assists with station setup.
