The newly renovated Hilton San Diego Bayfront is seeking an energetic Cook III to join their team. Located along the San Diego Bay, this beautiful property features 1,190 guest rooms, 170,000 square feet of event space, and 8 food and beverage outlets. Bring your culinary skills to this dynamic hotel and team.

A Cook III is responsible for preparing, maintaining, and monitoring quality control for hot food items, contributing to the hotel's goal of outstanding service and profitability.

Schedule: Open availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Wage: $29.13 per hour

The ideal candidate will possess:

• At least 5 years of experience as a line cook
• Banquet culinary experience
• Hotel and union experience is a plus

What will I be doing?

As a Cook III, responsibilities include preparing, maintaining, and ensuring quality control for hot food items such as meat, fish, fowl, sauces, stocks, and seasonings. Tasks include:

• Preparing food according to recipes and standards
• Fulfilling guest orders efficiently and courteously
• Maintaining cleanliness and food sanitation standards
• Inspecting food presentation and quality
• Handling and storing food properly following regulations
