Job summary

AdventHealth in Sebring, FL is seeking a cook to prepare high-quality meals for patients, the café, and catering events. You will update menus and production records in collaboration with leadership to ensure dietary compliance and operational efficiency.

Maintain HACCP-compliant, clean workspaces and proper portioning, coordinating daily operations with the FANS team. PRN, Day-Weekend shift, on-site at 4200 SUN N LAKE BLVD, Sebring, FL.

Qualifications

• HAACP standards knowledge required.
• Food safety and sanitation required.
• Food preparation skills required.
• Basic kitchen equipment handling.
• Able to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality meals for patients, café service, and catering events.
• Create and update menus, recipes, and production records with leadership to support dietary compliance and operational efficiency.
• Maintain clean and sanitary workspaces, equipment, and storage areas by following HACCP guidelines and recording temperatures accurately.
• Oversee food production activities, ensuring proper portioning, batch cooking, and adherence to culinary standards for both patient and retail services.
• Communicate effectively with the FANS Coordinator and team members to coordinate daily operations, resolve issues, and ensure service expectations are consistently met.
• Other duties as assigned.
