Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Cook II at UNIV OF KANSAS HEALTH SYSTEM ST FRANCIS CAMPUS in Topeka, KS. You’ll be part of a team preparing nutritious meals while delivering friendly customer service in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities include cooking, portioning, and presenting hot and cold items, following recipes, and supporting kitchen operations. Strong teamwork and reliability are valued; 3–4 years of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of related work experience preferred.
• Team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and safety-conscious.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, cook, and present hot and/or cold items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and events.
• Read and follow basic recipes and product directions.
• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station.
• May support management in daily operations and staff during the shift.
• Attends work and shows up on time with regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
