Harrah’s Council Bluffs, Horseshoe Council Bluffs, the Hilton Garden Inn and Caesars Entertainment properties are seeking a Cook's Helper to join our kitchen team. You will follow established recipes, help with prep, and maintain a clean and safe work area while delivering quality food.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months service as a cook's helper, reliable work habits, and the ability to communicate with staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months service as a Cook's Helper.
• Maintain high-quality standards in all food prep.
• Be reliable and hardworking with good communication with staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper cleanliness of reach-in and walk-in refrigeration and storage areas.

Jack Binion's Steakhouse is an elegant, mouth-watering culinary treasure with a distinctive menu of extraordinary appetizers, steaks, seafood and other house specialties.

Responsibilities

• Following standard recipe and preparation methods as established while maintaining a clean, orderly workplace and clean immediate area after completing a task.
• Ensuring that reach-in and walk-in refrigeration is clean and orderly, as is all other storage areas.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Present food according to plating specifications while ensuring that high-quality and productivity standards will be strictly maintained; ensuring specified portions will be used in all preparations.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and greet guests in a friendly, positive manner.
• Conducting self in a manner that reflects credit on Harrah's and Horseshoe while encouraging others to do the same.

Qualifications
