Job summary

The Grove Resort & Water Park Orlando, operated by SPIRE Hospitality, seeks a Cook II to join our dynamic Food & Beverage team. You will prepare, cook and present high-quality items, while maintaining safety and sanitation standards in a fast-paced resort kitchen.

You will help ensure guest dining experiences meet our standards, assist with inventory and equipment, and contribute to memorable hospitality across our multiple outlets in Orlando.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year cook experience in hotel or similar operation.
• ServSafe or food safety certification may be required.
• Basic math skills for recipes, measurements and portions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items according to standard recipes and guest specifications.
• Monitor storage, portion control and inventory of food products.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of refrigeration and work areas.
• Prepare requisitions for food supplies and manage production in the workstation.
• Use math to measure ingredients and prepare dishes to specifications.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to meet health and sanitation standards.
• Ensure floor cleanliness and safe working conditions.
• Assist with moving supplies and clean spills as required.
• Perform duties across multiple outlets on the property as needed.
