Early Morning Cook

Essential Job Functions

  • Follows recipe specifications and maintains high quality and consistency.
  • Cooks in high volume and high quality environment.
  • Works from production sheets & recipes.
  • Has knowledge of basic soup and sauce production.
  • Follows directions of Sous Chef or Lead Cook (Cook III).
  • Works cooperatively with others under high stress.
  • Assists with food preparation.
  • Wears appropriate uniform: chef coat, issued pants, socks, slip‑resistant black shoes, cook beanie and/or hair net.
  • Provides service to internal and external customers reflecting the company culture of Satisfaction, Togetherness, Appreciation and Recognition (S.T.A.R.).
  • Responsible for immediately informing the on‑site IGC Agent on duty, Security and Supervisor on Duty of any Internal Control or State Regulation violations related to gaming activity of which you commit, witness or become aware; must report pursuant to the company Self‑Reporting Policy.

Other Job Functions

  • Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned or directed by a Chef.
  • Keeps and uses rotated food items using FIFO method (First In, First Out).
  • Keeps refrigerators and dry storage clean & organized.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience required: Six months previous experience in kitchen production.
  • Education required: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Skills, knowledge and/or abilities required: Ability to communicate effectively with others at all times; understands and complies with all Company and departmental rules and regulations; basic knife skills.
