Job Summary

The Banquet Cook II ensures excellent guest service in a timely manner, maintains consistent quality products, and creates a fun dining experience. Responsible for sanitary food handling, preparing menu items, cleaning the prep area, and other duties as assigned. The starting wage is $15.

Essential Functions
  • Develops and maintains a Service Culture that ensures the delivery of superior guest service by all team members.
  • Prepares and produces menu items to standards efficiently.
  • Maintains a clean and organized kitchen.
  • Assists in food production across all work areas, including proper cooking methods, times, and temperatures.
  • Ensures assigned station and equipment are clean and sanitary.
  • Ensures safety and security of team members and guests.
  • Adheres to all regulatory, departmental, and company policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of promotions and scheduled events.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience in pantry, fry cook, broiler, and sauté.
  • Successful completion of required training.
  • Knowledge of local health department sanitation laws.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations.
  • Responds to visual and aural cues.
  • Reads, writes, speaks, and understands English.
  • Works with kitchen equipment, in coolers & freezers, with slippery floors.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, stretch, bend, and stand for long periods.
  • Operates in stressful situations.
