The University of Iowa Health Care is seeking a Cook II to supervise and participate in producing large-scale menu items while ensuring sanitation of cooking equipment and facilities at General Hospital in Iowa City.

The role operates under general supervision, with a 100% time commitment and a Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm schedule. Eligibility includes two years of Cook I experience; benefits and retirement options accompany this on-campus position.

The University of Iowa Health Care department of Food and Nutrition Services is seeking a Cook II, under general supervision, supervises and participates in production of large-scale menu items, and in the sanitation of cooking equipment and facilities.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

• Two years of experience as a Cook I or outside experience in quantity and quality food preparation comparable thereto.
