Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; required.
• 1–2 years of general line cook or back-of-house experience.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes and production sheets accurately and adjust as needed.
• Prepare pan garnishes for front-of-house operations with attention to detail.
• Set up and organize steam tables per diagrams for timely service.
• Monitor and maintain proper food temperatures and safety standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure quality and smooth operations.
• Assist in inventory management and rotate stock to minimize waste.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area in line with sanitation protocols.
• Contribute to menu planning and suggest improvements.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cook II to join our culinary team in Gaithersburg, MD. As a Cook II, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety, and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our customers.

• Follow recipes and production sheets accurately, documenting any necessary adjustments.
• Prepare pan garnishes for front-of-house operations with attention to detail and presentation.
• Set up and organize steam tables according to diagrams, ensuring timely and efficient meal service.
• Monitor and maintain proper food temperatures throughout meal service, adhering to safety standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and consistent food quality.
• Assist in inventory management and stock rotation to minimize waste.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all sanitation protocols.
• Contribute to menu planning and suggest improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.

• High school diploma or equivalent,required
• 1-2years of general work experience as a line cook or back of the house cook
• ServSafe certification, preferred

Schedule & Compensation

• Full Time, 40 hours weekly
• 10:30am - 7pm
• Every other weekend & every other holiday
• $20.00/hour
