Cook Children's in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Cook II to join the Food & Nutrition Services team. The cook will organize ingredients, plan meals, and prepare food items in assigned production areas, coordinating with the Chef/Sous Chef on daily activities to meet customer satisfaction goals.

The role emphasizes proper sanitation, equipment cleaning, and preparing ingredients for the next day’s production. A high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of healthcare/ institutional cooking

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of healthcare, institutional, or restaurant cooking experience.
• Must maintain sanitation and safety standards in a hospital kitchen.

Coordinates with Chef/Sous Chef/Supervisor regarding daily activities. Responsible for maintaining cleaning and sanitation of cooking equipment and work area, and prepping ingredients for next day’s production needs as assigned.Education & Experience:* High school diploma or equivalent* 2 years of experience in healthcare, institutional or restaurant cooking to include food preparationLicensure, Registration, and/or Certification:* City of Ft.
