Job summary

Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson seeks a Pastry Cook I to lead daily pastry production for all hotel outlets, working closely with the Pastry Chef and leadership team. You will oversee desserts for à la carte and banquets, while mentoring junior cooks and ensuring high-quality presentation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead production of advanced desserts, breads, cakes, and pastries for all outlets.
  • Execute refined plating and presentation for desserts for à la carte and banquet service.
  • Mentor and coach Pasary Cooks I & II; collaborate on seasonal dessert development.
  • Maintain HACCP and food safety standards; manage storage, labeling, and inventory.

This position requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering refined, consistent, and beautifully presented desserts.
