Job summary

Salary Grade: Hourly 07 ($13.72 - $17.26/hr)

Position Summary

This position will assist the school cafeteria team in the processes necessary to provide breakfast, lunch, and/or snacks to TPS students; focusing primarily in the quantity food production of menu items and may assist the Cook II.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED or equivalent food handlers experience in lieu of education.
• Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.: Must possess or be willing to obtain a current Food Handler’s Permit issued via the Tulsa City/County Health Department.
• Experience: Basic knowledge of quantity food preparation and customer service skills. Previous experience in a school cafeteria preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Be able to lift, pull, or push up to 25 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time.
