Job summary

Sholom is seeking a Cook I to plate and prepare kosher meals for our senior population in a seven-day operation at our Minnesota facility. A Serve Safe or equivalent certificate is preferred, with certification to be obtained within 30 days if not already held. HS diploma or equivalent and prior cooking/plating experience are preferred.

Education, Experience and Credentials
  • Serve Safe or equivalent food protection certificate preferred; upon hire must obtain within 30 days of hire, if not already certified.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Previous cooking or plating experience preferred.

Compensation

An individual's pay rate within the posted range may be determined by various factors, including skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization prioritizes pay equity and considers internal team equity when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical. Shift and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
