Job summary

Stein Collection seeks a dedicated team member for its Park City culinary team. The role involves executing menu specifications, producing Me en Place, and preparing food to Chef's requests to help create memorable guest experiences.

You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, maintain cleanliness, adhere to sanitation standards, assist with prep, and support menu development while collaborating with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to ensure consistent quality.

Qualifications

• One year in foods industry in a comparable role.
• Professional appearance required.
• Food handler’s permit or sanitation certificate.
• Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Report to work in a clean, complete uniform in a timely manner.
• Monitor sanitation and cleanliness of workstation, kitchen and equipment.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Maintain par levels determined by Sous Chef.
• Label and date products produced daily.
• Follow menu specifications precisely.
• Assist with basic food prep and measuring.
• Prepare food using various appliances and equipment.
• Maintain a clean workstation.
• Assist in menu planning and development.
• Oversee and assist to ensure standards in absence of Lead or Chef.
• Stock and set up station for meal service.

Position Summary:

Performs a wide range of culinary techniques to consistently execute menu specifications as designed by Executive Chef. Produces Me en Place for all outlets the kitchen placed in services. Preparing food to the specifications that the customer/ Executive Chef has requested. You will play a key role in creating a memorable experience for the guests.

Essential Functions:

• Report to work in a clean, complete uniform in a timely manner
• Consistently monitor sanitation and cleanliness of work station, kitchen and equipment
• Adhere to company and department policies and procedures
• Maintain par levels determined by Sous Chef
• Label and date products produced on a daily basis
• Follow menu specifications in a precise, efficient manner according to Executive Chef guidelines
• Assisting with basic food prep such as chopping, slicing and measuring
• Prepare food using various appliances and equipment
• Maintain a clean work station
• Assist in menu planning and development
• Overseeing and assisting to ensure standards are met in absence of the Lead or Chef
• Stocking and setting up a station for meal service

Other Responsibilities:

• Perform work related duties as assigned

Education, Experience, and Skills Required:

• One year in Foods Industry in comparable job
• Professional appearance
• Food handler’s permit or sanitation certificate
• Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds
