Summary:

The Food Services Cook I is responsible for the preparation of foods according to standardized recipes and production methods, including food preparation for special populations. Ensures high quality using safe, sanitary food handling techniques during preparation, service, and storage. Assists with orienting and training of new team members and performs other duties as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:
  1. Required - 2 years as a Cook; Or - 1 year of relevant experience with High School or equivalent; Or - Graduate of a culinary program.
Education:
  1. Nonessential: HS Graduate or Equivalent GED
  2. Technical Program Completion or Degree (Culinary Arts preferred)
Credentials:
  1. Nonessential: Food Handler
