Job summary

Denali Universal Services (DUS) seeks Bull Cooks/Housekeepers for a remote North Slope camp. The role combines cooking and housekeeping duties for a small team on a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation, including paid flights between Anchorage and site.

Ideal candidates adapt easily to remote living, work well in a team, and are comfortable with 12-hour shifts and camp housing provided. Training and a supportive environment are emphasized.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Current Alaska Food Worker Card or ability to obtain prior to hire.
• Minimum six (6) months of experience in housekeeping, food service, commercial kitchen operations, or related environment
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to perform job duties safely and effectively
• Willingness and ability to live and work in a remote camp setting for assigned rotations and to share housing/room
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote camp environment
• Reliable access to a smartphone for company-required applications
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and fit-for-duty evaluation

What Will Make You Stand Out

• Previous experience working in remote camps, oilfield facilities, mining camps, or other industrial environments
• Training or experience in HACCP, food safety, sanitation, infection prevention, or foodborne illness prevention
• Alaska North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) certification
• Experience supporting hospitality, catering, institutional food service, or residential housekeeping operations
