Job summary

Conservatory at Plano is hiring a Cook to join our dining team in Plano, TX. The role supports on-site meal service for residents and includes working across grill, sauté, salad-bar and service lines.

Ideal candidates have prior senior living experience, strong food-safety knowledge, and excellent organization and communication skills. Weekend availability is required to meet residents' needs and meal schedules.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Senior Living preferred.
• Experience with production methods, portion control and food handling safety required.
• Great organizational skills a must.
• Strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail and presentation of food product is required.
• Must be able to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold menu items at grill, sauté station, salad-bar and service line.
• Ensure proper preparation, portioning and serving according to menu cycle and recipes.

Conservatory at Plano is looking for a Cook to join our team.

Cook Responsibilities:

• Prepare hot and cold menu items which requires working on the grill, sauté station, salad-bar and on the service line;
• Ensure the proper preparation, portioning and serving of foods as indicated on the menu cycle and the standardized recipes;
• Taste and prepare food to determine quality and palatability.
