Job summary

A senior living community in Houston is seeking a Cook to join the team. The ideal candidate will prepare both hot and cold menu items with strong attention to detail. Responsibilities include ensuring the quality and presentation of food, working on the grill and salad-bar, as well as adhering to production methods and safety. Our community is looking for a Cook to join our team.

Cook Responsibilities:

• Prepare hot and cold menu items which requires working on the grill, sauté station, salad-bar and on the service line;
• Ensure the proper preparation, portioning and serving of foods as indicated on the menu cycle and the standardized recipes;
• Taste and prepare food to determine quality and palatability.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in Senior Living preferred
