Job summary

Sagewood at Desert Ridge, a senior living community in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a cook to join our culinary team. You'll prep, cook, and plate meals in a warm, professional kitchen and help maintain a sanitary, tidy workspace, with shifts ending by 9:00 PM and no late nights.

Ideal candidates have at least three years' cooking experience in senior living, hotel, restaurant, or club, enjoy weekend work, pass drug and background checks, and hold an Arizona Food Handlers Card.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience as a cook in a senior living community, hotel, restaurant, or club.
• Able to pass drug screening and background checks.
• Arizona Food Handler's Card or obtain it upon hire.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exceptional meals and plate them in a sanitary, tidy kitchen.
• Maintain a clean, efficient station and support kitchen workflow during varied shifts.

• Pay: $20-23/ hr
• Schedule:Varied shifts from 11:00am-7:30pm,11:30am - 8:00pm, and on Sundays 7a-3p
  Working 5 days per week.
  Working weekends and occasional holidays.

• Vaccination:FLU vaccine REQUIRED
