• We are hiring immediately for a COOK (FULL AND PART TIME) position.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations, following established policies and procedures. Ensures quality food service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares high-quality food items per standardized recipes to meet production, delivery, and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring proper portioning, temperature, attractiveness, and taste. Tastes all prepared food items.
• Uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains records from the area worked.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Stores or discards excess food per safe handling procedures.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized. Ensures proper storage of food and supplies.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting.
• Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies.
• Reports maintenance issues, faulty equipment, or accidents immediately.
• Attends in-service and safety meetings.
• Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Performs job safely, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures, following HACCP standards.
• Prioritizes safety for yourself and others.
• Follows all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols when handling knives, hot pans, and using slip-resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques.
