Unidine is hiring immediately for a full time and part time COOK position at the University of Michigan Health West.

Position Details

• Location: University of Michigan Health West - 5900 Byron Center Ave Southwest, Wyoming, MI 49519
• Schedule: Full time and part time, Monday - Friday, rotating weekends; hours may vary
• Requirement: Previous culinary experience required
• Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Job Summary

Prepares food according to standards, ensuring quality and safety. Responsible for food preparation, presentation, and cleanliness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food items according to recipes and schedules.
• Serve meals, ensuring proper portioning, temperature, and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Assist in inventory, ordering, and record-keeping.
• Report maintenance issues and participate in safety meetings.
• Follow safety and food handling standards, including HACCP.
• Maintain good relationships with team members and staff.
