• Location: Winchester Gardens - 333 Elmwood Avenue, Maplewood, NJ 07040.
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time; days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Details provided during interview.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepare food according to standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food following standardized recipes to meet schedules.
• Serve meals with proper portioning, temperature, and presentation; taste all items.
• Manage ticket collection during service and maintain records.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas, following safe food handling procedures.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Assist in production planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies.
• Report maintenance issues promptly.
• Attend safety and in-service meetings.
• Maintain good relationships with coworkers and customers.
• Follow safety protocols, including proper use of gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.
