Job Opportunity: Cook at Morrison Healthcare

Morrison Healthcare is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Cook positions at Acadia General, located at 1305 Crowley Rayne Highway, Crowley, LA 70526. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time and part-time shifts, Monday - Friday with rotating weekends. Hours may vary; more details will be provided during the interview.

Requirements: Previous culinary experience in a hospital setting is preferred.

Pay Range: $15.00 to $16.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food according to recipes and standards to meet production and service schedules.
• Serve meals with proper portioning, temperature, and presentation; taste all prepared food.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Assist with production planning, ordering, and record-keeping.
• Report maintenance issues or accidents immediately.
• Participate in safety and in-service meetings.
• Follow all safety policies, including proper use of protective gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.
