Parkstone Place Retirement Center is hiring a full-time Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents in North Little Rock, AR. The role offers an early shift with afternoons free and a 40-hour workweek, with weekends and holidays rotating.

You will follow approved menus, maintain safety standards, and collaborate with the dietary team to meet special dietary needs, ensuring high-quality meal service for residents.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking, dietary, restaurant, or food service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to approved menus and recipes
• Ensure food is prepared and served with quality, consistency, and care
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards
• Complete required food temperature logs and documentation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
• Properly store and rotate food inventory
• Assist with receiving and stocking deliveries
• Support special dietary needs and therapeutic diets
• Work closely with dietary team members to provide excellent meal service

Schedule

Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Rotating schedule, including some weekends and holidays

What You'll Do
