An established industry player in healthcare food services is seeking a dedicated Cook to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation, production, and presentation of a variety of foods in a hospital kitchen, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. This Cook position is responsible for the preparation, production, and presentation of a variety of foods, completion of production sheets and other associated food service activities in a hospital kitchen. This position is 10:30am-7pm with some 6:00am-2:30pm shifts, and may require working on weekends and holidays. Facility located in East Anchorage.
Weather: Indoors, environmentally controlled.
Noise level: The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
Description of environment: This is an industrial kitchen located in a healthcare setting.
Physical requirements: The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands/fingers to handle or feel, talk/hear, see, taste/smell, and carry weight/lift. The employee is infrequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
