Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to applicable standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares high-quality food items following standardized recipes to meet production schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, and presentation; tastes all food items.
• Uses established procedures during service; maintains records from work areas.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas, following safe food-handling procedures.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in planning, record keeping, ordering, and receiving of supplies.
• Reports maintenance issues or accidents immediately.
• Attends safety and in-service meetings.
• Maintains positive working relationships with team members and clients.
• Follows HACCP standards for presentation, portion control, and temperature maintenance.
• Adheres to safety policies, including proper glove and footwear use and proper lifting techniques.
