The ideal candidate has prior cooking experience in healthcare or related settings, a high school diploma, and a commitment to teamwork. This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with every other weekend, along with a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• ServSafe certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to planned menus and dietary needs.
• Follow recipes, portion control, and food preparation guidelines.
• Accommodate special diets and texture modifications as required.
• Monitor food quality and temperatures during preparation and service.
• Ensure meals are prepared and served in a timely, professional manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.

Position Overview

The Cook is responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, home-style meals while following resident dietary needs, planned menus, food safety standards, and sanitation guidelines. We are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, team-oriented, and takes pride in providing quality meals and excellent service to our residents.

Schedule

• Full-Time Position
• Monday through Friday
• Every Other Weekend Required
• Consistent schedule in a supportive skilled nursing environment

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to planned menus and resident dietary needs
• Follow recipes, portion control standards, and food preparation guidelines

• Ability to work every other weekend as scheduled
