Job summary

Encore Village in Schaumburg, IL is hiring a full-time Cook. You will prepare meals following standardized recipes and production worksheets, assist with setup, service, and cleanup of food production, and uphold cleaning and sanitation standards.

Work with the Chef/Production Manager to develop new menu items, notify inventory needs promptly, and maintain confidentiality of resident information and staff information as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months professional cooking experience preferred.
• Experience in restaurants is a plus.

Encore Village of Schaumburg is currently hiring for a full time Cook position.

Responsible for food preparation utilizing standardized recipes and production worksheets; assisting with set-up, service and cleanup of food production; and adherence to cleaning, safety and sanitation standards. In coordination with Chef/Production Manager, develop new menu items and recipes. Inform Chef/Production Manager of inventory requirements in a timely fashion. Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent resident information to assure residents' rights and employee confidentiality are protected.

Experience in working in restaurants a plus. Minimum of 6 months professional cooking experience preferred.
