Job Summary

Prepares food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, ensuring quality food service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepares high-quality food items according to recipes and instructions to meet production and service schedules.
2. Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring proper portioning, temperature, and presentation. Tastes all prepared food.
3. Uses established ticket collection procedures and maintains records during service.
4. Maintains cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas, following safe food-handling procedures.
5. Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
6. Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting.
7. Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies.
8. Reports maintenance issues or accidents immediately.
9. Attends in-service and safety meetings.
10. Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
11. Performs job safely, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
13. Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures following HACCP standards.
14. Follows all safety policies, including proper use of gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.
