As a Cook in a senior living environment, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality, nutritious meals that promote residents' health and enjoyment. Your duties include following standardized recipes, ensuring food presentation meets quality standards, adhering to dietary modifications, and maintaining food safety through proper recording and storage practices. You will support a clean and organized kitchen environment by completing cleaning logs, equipment maintenance, and following sanitation and OSHA guidelines. In addition, you may assist with dishwashing and dining service, and lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator.
Focus on food safety, sanitation, attention to detail, ability to follow recipes and dietary requirements, and teamwork skills to support a positive dining experience. Prior kitchen or food service experience is advantageous.
