Qualifications

• Proven experience as cook.
• Experience using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware.
• Knowledge of grilling, baking, boiling, and other cooking methods.
• Ability to follow sanitation procedures.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills; good physical condition.
• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat).
• Cook food in various utensils or grillers.
• Check food while cooking to stir or turn.
• Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before serving.
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen.
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
• Check quality of ingredients.
• Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages.

Position: Full-time 1st shift (6:00am-2:00pm) with every other weekend rotation. Possible opportunity to work 1:00pm-7:00pm)
