Job summary

LCS (Life Care Services) is seeking a skilled cook to join our culinary team at a senior living community in Phoenix. You will prepare, cook, and plate meals across five restaurants, while maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen and contributing to a warm dining experience for residents.

Qualifications

• A minimum of three years’ experience as a cook in a senior living, hotel, restaurant, or club.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals for residents across our five restaurants in the community.
• Plate meals and maintain a sanitary, tidy kitchen throughout shift.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality presentation.

Position Details:

• Pay: $20-23/ hr
• Schedule: Varied shifts from 7:00am-3:30pm, 11:00am - 7:30pm, 11:30am- 8:00pm
  Working 5 days per week.
  Working weekends and occasional holidays.
• Location: 4555 E. Mayo Blvd, Phoenix, AZ 85050
• Vaccination: FLU vaccine REQUIRED

Who you are:

• A passion for cooking!
• A minimum of three years’ experience, as a cook in a senior living community, hotel, restaurant, or club.
• Comfortable working weekends and occasional holidays.
• Will be on your feet for extended periods of time and occasionally lift to 50lbs. working in a restaurant style kitchen.
• Must pass drug screening and background checks for employment.
• Must have Arizona Food Handlers Card or get it upon hire.
