Sagewood is hiring a Cook in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves preparing, cooking, and plating meals in our high-end senior living community, with no late nights and a home by 9:00 PM.

Shifts vary from 7:00am to 3:30pm and 11:00am to 8:00pm, 5 days per week, with weekends and some holidays. Flu vaccine is required. Pay ranges from $20 to $23 per hour, with benefits including PTO, insurance, and 401K.

Qualifications

• Three years' cooking experience in senior living community, hotel, restaurant, or club.
• Must pass drug screening and background checks for employment.
• Arizona Food Handlers Card or obtain upon hire.
• Must be on your feet for extended periods and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Who You Are

• A passion for cooking!
• A minimum of three years' experience, as a cook in a senior living community, hotel, restaurant, or club.
• Comfortable working weekends and occasional holidays.
• Will be on your feet for extended periods of time and occasionally lift to 50lbs. working in a restaurant style kitchen.
• Must pass drug screening and background checks for employment.
• Must have Arizona Food Handlers Card or get it upon hire.
