Job summary

LCS is seeking a Cook for our senior living/community kitchen in Phoenix, AZ. You will prepare and plate meals, drawing on established kitchen processes to ensure quality and consistency while maintaining a sanitary, orderly work space.

Expect varied shifts with daytime hours, no late nights, and opportunities to grow your culinary craft within a supportive team. Sixteen PTO days, benefits, and meal privileges are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience as a cook in a senior living community, hotel, restaurant, or club.
• Must have Arizona Food Handlers Card or obtain it on hire.
• Must pass drug screening and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exceptional meals and plate dishes in a sanitary kitchen.
• Apply knowledge of how a commercial kitchen operates during prep, cooking, and plating.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the shift.

Position Details:

• Pay: $20-23/ hr
• Schedule: Varied shifts from 7:00am-3:30pm, 11:00am - 7:30pm, 11:30am- 8:00pm
  Working 5 days per week.
  Working weekends and occasional holidays.
• Location: 4555 E. Mayo Blvd, Phoenix, AZ 85050
• Vaccination: FLU vaccine REQUIRED

Who you are:

• A passion for cooking!
• A minimum of three years’ experience, as a cook in a senior living community, hotel, restaurant, or club.
• Comfortable working weekends and occasional holidays.
• Will be on your feet for extended periods of time and occasionally lift to 50lbs. working in a restaurant style kitchen.
• Must pass drug screening and background checks for employment.
• Must have Arizona Food Handlers Card or get it upon hire.
