Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties:

• Prepares high-quality food items per recipes to meet schedules.
• Serves meals, ensuring proper portioning, temperature, and presentation. Tastes all food.
• Uses ticket procedures during service. Keeps records from work areas.
• Maintains cleanliness, stores/discards excess food per safety standards.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized.
• Operates kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in planning, record-keeping, and ordering supplies.
• Reports maintenance issues immediately.
• Attends safety meetings and maintains good relationships with staff and customers.
• Follows HACCP standards and safety policies, including proper glove and equipment use.
