We are hiring immediately for a full-time COOK position.

Location: Ochsner Rush Medical Center - 1314 19th Avenue, Meridian, MS 39304. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm. Days may vary, more details upon interview.

Requirement: Previous commercial cooking experience required.

Pay Range: $12.00 to $14.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food items following recipes and instructions.
• Serve meals, ensuring proper portioning, temperature, and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Assist in planning, record-keeping, and ordering supplies.
• Report maintenance issues and participate in safety meetings.
• Maintain good working relationships and adhere to safety policies.

Additional responsibilities include ensuring proper presentation, portion control, and following HACCP standards, along with personal safety commitments and adherence to company policies.
