Job Summary

Prepares food according to standards, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food per recipes to meet schedules.
• Serve or prepare meals with correct portions, temperature, and presentation. Taste all items.
• Use established ticket procedures during service. Maintain records.
• Clean kitchen after use, store or discard excess food safely.
• Keep refrigerators and storerooms clean. Store items properly.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Assist in planning, record-keeping, and ordering supplies.
• Report maintenance issues or accidents immediately.
• Attend safety and in-service meetings.
• Maintain good relationships with coworkers and management.
• Work safely, maintaining a clean environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and temperature following HACCP standards.
• Prioritize safety for yourself and others.
• Follow all company policies, including safety protocols like using gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.
