Job Description: Cook at Morrison Living

Morrison Living is hiring immediately for a full-time Cook position at Luther Acres Manor, located at 600 E Main Street, Lititz, PA 17543.

Schedule: Full-time shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off.

Requirements: Willing to train.

Pay Range: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour.

Additional Duties: Taking orders from residents via phone and at the table, using a POS terminal.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, and presentation.
• Uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains records.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Stores or discards excess food following safe food-handling procedures.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies.
• Reports maintenance issues immediately.
• Attends in-service and safety meetings.
• Maintains good working relationships with coworkers and management.
• Follows safety standards, including HACCP standards and proper use of protective equipment.
