+ We are hiring immediately for a full-time COOK position.

+ Location: Roane Medical Center - 8045 Roane Medical Center Drive, Harriman, TN 37748. Note: online applications accepted only.

+ Schedule: Full-time; days may vary, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm or 10:30 am to 7:00 pm. Rotating weekends. More details upon interview.

+ Requirements: Prior cooking experience in a healthcare setting and diet knowledge preferred.

+ Pay Range: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepare high-quality food following recipes and schedules.
2. Serve meals with proper portioning, temperature, and presentation; taste all items.
3. Follow ticket procedures and maintain records.
4. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas, following safety standards.
5. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
6. Assist with planning, record-keeping, and ordering.
7. Report maintenance issues promptly.
8. Participate in safety and in-service meetings.
9. Foster good relationships with coworkers and clients.
10. Follow HACCP standards and safety policies, including proper use of protective gear.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
