We are hiring immediately for a full-time COOK position at Roane Medical Center, Harriman, TN. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time; days may vary, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm or 10:30 am to 7:00 pm, with rotating weekends. More details provided upon interview.

Requirements: Prior cooking experience in a healthcare setting and diet knowledge preferred.

Pay Range: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Prepares food according to standards and regulations, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food per recipes and instructions, meet production and service schedules.
• Serve meals with correct portioning, temperature, and presentation; taste all prepared food.
• Use ticket procedures during service; maintain records.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas, follow safe food-handling procedures.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Assist in planning, record keeping, ordering, and reporting.
• Report maintenance issues immediately.
• Attend safety meetings; maintain good relationships with team and customers.
• Follow HACCP standards and all safety policies.
