• We are hiring immediately for full time COOK positions.
• Location: Inova Fair Oaks Hospital - 3600 Joseph Siewick Drive, Fairfax, VA 22033 Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time. Monday - Friday, 5:00 am - 2:00 pm or 11:00 am - 8:00 pm. Must be able to work every other weekend. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: At least 1 year of cooking experience.
• Perks: $1,500 sign on bonus paid out 1/2 at 90 days and remaining at 180 days!
• Pay Rate: $17.75 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to standards, ensuring quality service at all times.
Essential Duties:

• Prepare high-quality food following recipes and schedules.
• Serve meals with proper portioning, temperature, and presentation. Taste all food items.
• Use ticket procedures during service and maintain records.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of food and supplies.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Assist in production planning, ordering, and reporting.
• Report maintenance issues immediately.
• Attend safety and in-service meetings.
• Maintain good relationships with team members and customers.
• Follow safety standards, including HACCP and proper glove and equipment use.
