Job summary

Symphony Pointe in Elkhorn, NE, part of Agemark Senior Living, is seeking a Cook for full-time evening shifts with some weekend work. You will prepare meals, follow recipes and dietary guidelines, and work with a supportive dining team to bring joy and connection to residents.

As part of an award-winning workplace, you’ll contribute to a clean, safe kitchen and help create enjoyable dining experiences for seniors, with opportunities for growth and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of hands-on cooking or culinary experience.
• Willingness to work evenings ending by 8:00 PM and some weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh, flavorful meals according to recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Ensure meals are prepared safely, accurately, and on time.
• Learn residents' preferences and help make each dining experience enjoyable.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.
• Assist with food preparation, cleanup, and kitchen organization.
• Support special events, celebrations, and community dining experiences.
