Job Opening: Cook at Morrison Healthcare

We are hiring immediately for a full-time COOK position at Morrison Healthcare, located at Los Angeles Community Hospital of Bellflower, 9542 East Artesia Boulevard, Bellflower, CA 90706. Online applications are accepted only.

Job Summary

Prepare food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, ensuring quality and safety at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepare high-quality food using standardized recipes to meet production and service schedules.
2. Serve meals, ensuring proper portioning, temperature, and presentation; taste all prepared items.
3. Follow ticket collection procedures and maintain records during service.
4. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas, following safe food-handling procedures.
5. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
6. Assist in planning, record-keeping, and ordering supplies.
7. Report maintenance issues and safety concerns immediately.
8. Attend safety and in-service meetings.
9. Maintain good working relationships with colleagues and management.
10. Follow HACCP standards for presentation, portion control, and temperature maintenance.
11. Adhere to all safety policies, including proper glove and equipment use.
