AVI Foodsystems in Barberton, OH is seeking an energetic Cook to join our full-time team. Monday through Friday, 11:30am to 8:00pm, offering a stable schedule and opportunities to grow.

You will assemble, cook, and plate dishes while maintaining a sanitary kitchen and contributing to daily menus. Candidates should have 2+ years of cooking experience and a strong work ethic to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cooking experience including food preparation.
• Knowledge of cooking methods, safety, and sanitation.
• Strong presentation skills and high energy.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, combine, and cook ingredients
• Maintain a sanitary kitchen
• Attend to the detail and presentation of each order
• Place and expedite orders
• Prepare ingredients by following recipes; slicing, cutting, chopping, mincing, stirring, whipping, and mixing ingredients
• Complete hot meal preparation by grilling, sautéing, roasting, frying, and broiling ingredients and assembling and refrigerating cold ingredients
• Adhere to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Maintain appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all food items
• Stores leftovers according to established standards
• Contribute to daily, holiday, and theme menus in collaboration with the team
