Position Details

• We are hiring immediately for a full and part time COOK position.
• Location: Heartland Behavioral Health - 3000 South Erie, Massillon, OH 44646. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full and Part time; hours and days may vary. Rotating weekends required. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: One year of prior high-volume cooking experience is preferred, but not required.
• Pay Rate: $17.75 per hour.

Job Summary

Prepares food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepare high-quality food items following standardized recipes and instructions.
2. Serve meals or prepare for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, and presentation.
3. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas, following safe food-handling procedures.
4. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
5. Assist in production planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies.
6. Report maintenance issues or accidents immediately.
7. Attend safety and in-service meetings.
8. Maintain good relationships with coworkers and customers.
9. Follow HACCP standards for presentation, portion control, and temperatures.
10. Adhere to all safety policies, including proper use of protective equipment and safe lifting techniques.
