Job summary

Paycom - ATS seeks a professional cook to prepare and serve meals for large groups while adhering to health and safety regulations. The role requires planning meals, managing time, and maintaining clean kitchen and service areas.

The ideal candidate will have prior cooking experience, ability to follow planned menus, and capacity to lift moderate weights as needed. A strong commitment to food quality and resident satisfaction is essential.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate successful employment as a cook.
• Two or more years of experience cooking for large groups preferred.
• Experience preparing special diets (low sodium, low cholesterol, diabetic, vegetarian) preferred.
• Able to regularly lift up to 30 pounds, occasionally over 50 pounds, and stand for long periods.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food preparation.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves meals as indicated on planned menus using standardized portions.
• Ensures meals are served on schedule and food prep tasks are organized.
• Performs kitchen cleanup and sanitation per schedules and checklists.
• Keeps track of resident, staff, and guest meals according to procedures.
• Reports issues to the Food Service Director or Executive Director.

The Cook prepares and serves nutritious, attractive meals and maintains the cleanliness of the food production and service areas.
