Join our not-for-profit organization that has provided over 100 years of housing and services to seniors with a commitment to quality care and service in a Christian environment.

Facility: GSS KS Olathe Ctr
Location: Olathe, KS
Address: 20705 W 151st St, Olathe, KS 66061, USA
Shift: 8 Hours - Day Shifts
Job Schedule: Full time
Weekly Hours: 40.00
Salary Range: $15.50 - $23.50

Job Summary

Prepare and cook food for patients/residents, staff, and visitors, following menu and dietary guidelines. Ensure food quality, sanitation, proper storage, and labeling. Operate kitchen equipment and follow HACCP guidelines to ensure safety and quality. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area.

Communicate effectively with team members and demonstrate ability to work independently. Follow recipes, document HACCP procedures, and operate various kitchen appliances and equipment.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
  • Basic math skills; six months of relevant experience preferred.
  • Food safety certification (Serv Safe) may be required based on location.
  • Additional requirements may include BLS certification, a valid driver's license, and the ability to drive.
