Job summary

The Arbor Company is hiring a Cook to support meal preparation and dining services for residents. You will follow established recipes, manage stock and inventory, and help ensure food safety and quality for daily service.

Previous experience in a kitchen, ability to work with special diets, and strong teamwork with the dining team are essential. This role supports a caring, resident-centered environment and offers opportunities within a growing organization.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree or training is preferred.
• Knowledge of kitchen basics, sanitation, food handling, portion control, and cooking procedures.
• Previous experience with special diets and long-term care is preferred.
• Previous experience with large batch cooking (100 people) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide food service and prepare meals using established recipes and menus.
• Assist with stock deliveries, product rotation, and regulatory log requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety by following schedules and protocols.
• Communicate with the Dining Director on prep, production, and service flow.
